AdonisMale -- The interface for this site is confusing, but its claim to serve "The World's Gay Porn Community" is validated by its vast selection of images and videos.
aimer, imaginer, penser -- This French Tumblr skews to pictures of the young and sleekly handsome.
Alan Spazzali Artist -- European artist Spazzali (Dutch citizen of Italian descent, educated in Paris) showcases other artists on his Tumblr, with an eclectic blend of gay illustration and "serious" artwork.
All memory is present. -- An entertaining potpourri of what the blogger specifies as posts on "books, men, films, jokes, art, music."
Ars -- As the title says, "art," with a focus on figure painting, including a wide selection of British artists like Rossetti and Waterhouse.
Arte&Falo -- The title means "art and phallus" in Portuguese, and that's mostly what you get: a wide selection of male nudes. Postings date back to 2018, but seem to have slowed lately.
Art/Illustrations -- A generous outpouring of the blogger's interest in Victorian/Edwardian illustration, figure painting, Japanese art, and what have you.
An artsy salmagundi -- A mishmash, a potpourri, or as Wikipedia defines salmagundi, "a large plated salad comprising many disparate ingredients." In this case the disparate ingredients include a healthy sampling of post-impressionist and contemporary art but also who knows what else.
At Face Value -- Sideblog to Rowrbazzle, a tribute to men whose face and/or figure turns me on.
Beautiful Dream 2 -- A prolific array of mostly shirtless men, a bit routine but with some occasional very welcome surprises.
Beyond The Pale -- A well-chosen mixture of art and photographs centering on men, sticking close to the Tumblr guidelines where the nudity is concerned.
Bragi's Cup -- A once-prolific blog of what its curator refers to as "Art, culture and beauty with a gay slant" which seems to have gone quiet in recent months. The archive, dating back to 2017, is worth checking out.
Brutos-Eros -- An encyclopedic collection of porn stars and male models that has been a fixture on Blogger since 2006 (and probably has never been redesigned, hence the clunky layout and the broken video links on older posts). Still a resource for anyone who wants to check out the men from the heyday of Colt Studios and other purveyors of naked guys.
Circunstâncias -- The Portuguese title means what it looks like: "circumstances," which I suppose may refer to the situations in which the handsome, mostly shirtless men it features find themselves. Where it leaves a little to be desired is in the blog design, in which some posts receive only a link without a picture and the ones that feature multiple images are reduced to only an introductory one: You have to click on them to reveal the others.
Coupling -- Sideblog to Rowrbazzle, a reminder that when it takes two to start a fire, it helps if both of them are extremely hot.
Curiousgentlelover -- A generous showcase for contemporary artists and photographers (and a few older ones) whose works center on images of men. Some posts contain biographical sketches about the featured artists.
Dissolving Time -- A well-chosen array of good-looking men without shirts -- and sometimes without pants, though in poses that dodge the Tumblr censorbot.
distractio infinita -- The "infinite distractions" are mostly paintings of nude males from a variety of eras. The interface is a little awkward, but the selection is great.
Eklekticon -- Not as eclectic as the name implies: It's mostly a collection of beefcake, but a very tasty one.
Embodiments -- Sideblog to Rowrbazzle, a celebration of ultra-maleness, including pits, pubes, and all the parts that the Tumblr censorbot will allow.
Eye Candy -- Shhh! Don't tell the Tumblr watchdogs, but a few examples of what they call "sensitive media" seem to have slipped into this collection of savory masculinity.
Ganymedes Rocks -- The curator of this blog introduces himself in an essay in a sidebar at the top of the page, but all you need to do is scroll through his collection of images to recognize that he's a man of sophisticated tastes.
Gay Artists -- The title of this well-curated blog may be a bit misleading: While many of the artists included in the collection, such as Andy Warhol and Paul Cadmus, were unquestionably gay, there's no definitive evidence that artists like Auguste Rodin and John Singer Sargent were -- only the speculation that their interest in depicting the nude male body provokes.
Gay Body Blog -- Some porn, some beefcake, presented with rather windy commentary that ranges from coy to raunchy. But the pictures are what you click there for.
Gay Curator -- Art and photography with a gay sensibility that extends beyond the usual male nudes into works not usually thought of as containing homoerotic content.
Gay Men's World -- It seems to be a world most of us would like to visit even if we don't live there: one full of washboard stomachs and furry chests.
goodboy -- You can almost feel surfeited by this array of handsome faces and shirtless torsos.
The Homoerotic Imagination -- Sideblog to Rowrbazzle, an exploration of the portrayal of men and the desire for them in art from the classical to the kitschy, from the pious to the pornographic (-ish).
The Hottest Male Models -- Somewhat amateurishly designed Blogger site which makes up for its layout deficiencies with a copious serving of handsome men and lots of nudity.
it just passes -- The black background with very small reverse type does a disservice to this very good Tumblr blog. One senses the curator's devotion to Anthony Perkins, but there are plenty of other men to be appreciated here.
Joe.My.God. -- Joe Jervis's venerable LGBT news blog, which dates back to 2006, is an invaluable resource, not only in its current news coverage but also in its archival record of the struggle of queer people for their rights. The posts run mostly to the socio-political, documenting not only the community's achievements but also the continuing antics of homophobes and right-wingers.
JOSELITO28 -- Well-done French site, with plenty of handsome nude men. Unlike a lot of gay sites on Blogger, the curator of this one doesn't seem obsessed with erections -- the guys let it hang loose but don't seem to be flaunting it.
A Jug of Wine, a Loaf of Bread, and Virtual Thou -- An online scrapbook that's mostly a collection of oddities and antiquities that grab the curator's omnivorous attention.
Life is worth living! -- Though the blogger says he loves all types of men, his site is heavy on the Daddy type: mature men, not overly gym-toned.
Literally Just Hot Celebrity Men -- Like me, you may question whether some of the guys on this blog are "hot," or even if they're celebrities -- I don't know who some of them are -- but there's a little bit of something for everybody here.
Love -- This blog has been around since 2016, which makes it something of a senior citizen for Tumblr sites. There's nothing old about the men on it, however.
M A B W -- The letters stand for "male art in black and white," and the layout of the site, with its large uncaptioned monochrome pictures of gorgeous men, is suitably artful.
Man as a Whole -- Sideblog to Rowrbazzle, dedicated to the portrayal of men from top to toe, side by side, and even upside down.
Mecs Gays Virils -- "Mecs" is French for "guys," which this Blogger site has served up generously since 2009.
Mgnx. -- Fascinatingly eclectic art blog, with a moderate emphasis on the contemporary.
Monsieur Labette -- "I'll show you things you cannot get elsewhere," boasts the curator of this handsomely designed gallery of mostly homoerotic art. Maybe, maybe not, but the archive, dating back ten years or so, is also worth exploring.
Montair -- The curator calls this blog a "cyberscrapbook," which is a good enough way of categorizing its miscellaneous character: some poetry, some art, some photography, some curiosities, all with a gay sensibility.
N’OMBRE -- A somewhat generic collection of handsome faces and bodies, but the blogger does something I appreciate: He identifies the models whenever he can, so you can search out your favorites on your own.
Out -- The online presence of the LGBT news magazine, with sections devoted to fashion, television, film, and news features.
palecolorinfluencer -- A personal pictorial blog by a self-described "mature gay man from England with wide-ranging interests" -- in short, you never know what you're going to see next, but it's likely to be interesting or poignant or handsome.
PARADI$E -- No harps, no halos, but plenty of heavenly bodies mixed with scenes of earthly bliss.
Pavane 24 -- Art, architecture, and whatever the blogger fancies. Unfortunately, too many of the works of art go unidentified, leaving viewers to do the Google image search on their own.
pepeus -- An idiosyncratic collection of men, art, and other stuff. Part of the appeal of the blog is figuring out what moved the curator to choose these particular images.
Peter's TUMBLR -- If that's Peter at the top of his blog, he's almost as hot as the guys he features. The archive, going back to the end of 2012, is worth checking out.
Plenty of Candy -- Plenty, indeed. This blogger seems to delight in teasing things past the Tumblr censorbot, and often succeeds. Another one with an archive that should be explored.
Pookie's Home -- Veteran Tumblr blogger with an eye for vintage male photos, homoerotic art, and many other things.
Pookie's Refuge -- Stymied by Tumblr's censors, this longtime collector of vintage male photographs moved the "full-frontal" ones to Blogger.
porncake -- "Not quite porn and not quite cake" as this venerable (posts go back to 2009) Blogger site puts it. Only about a fourth of the images are male nudes, and even those are modest by the standards of uncensored blogs. They show it all, but you'll rarely see an erection on these guys, and there's virtually no male-male sexual contact. But there's a lot of handsomeness -- some "vintage," some more recent -- on display. The rest of the posts are wittily chosen: scenes from old movies, pictures of desserts, what have you, often grouped according to an unstated theme. In short, an essential blog.
Queerty -- Irreverent LGBT news site, with a blend of posts ranging from political news to celebrity tattle, skewing a bit toward the latter.
Rowrbazzle -- A somewhat eclectic collection of favorite artists, favorite men, and things that just strike my fancy.
S O N S -- A collage of masculinity, at least when it's filtered through the gay sensibility. Large format black-and-white images.
The Stud Service -- The title sums it up: brawn, beards, pecs, abs, whatever your thirst craves.
thouartadeadthing -- A tessellated treasure trove of art, men, architecture, objets d'art, and much more. The collage effect of the layout may test your patience, but stick with it.
3leapfrogs -- The leapfrogs have been hopping around Tumblr for a long time, testing the patience of the censors with their pictures of disrobed men. Their latest attempt to maintain a presence on the 'net is no exception.
TINTIN SE SOUVIENT -- Men and art, nicely curated, but with an eye-straining black background and minuscule reverse type in the captions.
To The Manner Born -- A well-curated collection of hunky men and other things that attract the blogger, self-described as "A Northern boy, with a Southern soul, and a British sensibility."
Towleroad -- One of the oldest news sites directed at the LGBT community and still one of the best.
Two Men In L❤️ve -- Frequently a celebration of what the title suggests, male couples, but often just a good old collection of hot guys and miscellany.
Who's Your Favorite Martyr? -- No kidding, this is a collection of artistic portrayals of saints, some of whom (e.g. Saint Sebastian) could be quite sexy. The curator approaches the subject with more irony than piety.
Xq28 to Xq28 -- A terrific catalog of muscle hunks. A recent redesign unfortunately eliminated the search function.
